Robin is our newest Category Manager, though she is not “new” to INFRA. Having started almost two years ago as an Associate Category Manager, Robin is transitioning into her new role seamlessly. Here are some brands that have caught her attention:

  • Bubbies Ice Cream: This is a delicious mochi ice cream in six packs & singles! My favorite is Alphonso Mango. Bubbies is in partnership with several foundations focused on preserving the ocean and sponsors beach clean-ups in both LA and internationally.

  • JonnyPops: I love the simple ingredients in these fruit pops! They are delicious, creamy, and not overly loaded with sugar. Made in Minnesota with options for different dietary needs. They also print a kind deed on every stick because they believe sharing kindness makes the world a better place.

  • Maria & Ricardo’s: Maria & Ricardo’s is a family-owned business making traditional Mexican tortillas that are gluten-free and vegan! The tortilla that brings mucho goodness to your meal – big flavor, amazing texture, clean ingredients and no artificial anything.

  • Peace Coffee: Organic, fair-trade, shade-grown coffee from small-scale grower co-ops, delivered by bike in the Twin Cities metro (and shipped nationally)—what’s not to love about Peace Coffee? PLUS they will be hosting roastery tours during the INFRA Annual conference in July! If you have not signed up for the tour, you must sign up! It is a great tour full of learning!

  • Sambazon: I’m excited about Sambazon because they reinvest a portion of their annual Acai sales back into the grower communities in Brazil, and partner with EcoCert to build new schools, libraries, and health care centers in the area around their growers. They also lead efforts to protect the rainforest’s biodiversity and endangered species.

The above brands highlight a commitment to sustainability, plant-based options, and products that are beneficial for both people and the planet. I also value brands that engage in community and environmental efforts, prioritize clean ingredients, fair-trade practices, and local, sustainable production methods, reflecting a holistic approach to health and environmental stewardship.
