Cam Rivers  

Hello! I’m Cam Rivers and I’m thrilled to be joining the INFRA team as the Member Business Advisor for the Southeast Region. I have a decade of experience in the food system and initially got my start working for small-scale farms in North Carolina. Afterwards, I spent several years in leadership roles with multiple grocery cooperatives throughout NC, focusing mostly on produce and meat categories. Prior to joining INFRA, I worked as a project manager for a national meal kit company, where I collaborated with teams across the country to improve procurement practices and reduce food waste. 

 During the pandemic, I graduated from the Academy of Creative Coaching, where I received my life coaching certification. I love meeting people where they are and supporting them in achieving their vision through deep listening, creative problem solving, and goal setting.  

Food is a core thread that runs through my life, both professionally and personally, and I love thinking about the complex roles food plays in interpersonal relationships, communities, and systems at large. I have a passion for Southern food and food history specific to the Appalachian South, which is where I’m from. On the weekends, you’ll likely find me on a trail, experimenting with recipes (likely covered in flour), zine-making, or playing a competitive game of rummy.

Hello everyone!  I am so excited to join INFRA as a Promotions and Merchandising Advisory Specialist.  I have been in the retail world for over 25 years because I absolutely love it.  I can’t wait to harness my love for natural foods to help INFRA members be the best they can be.   

My strong belief that everyone should be able to enjoy the magic of healthy and organic food is what draws me to INFRA’s mission. The most fun I had while working in grocery stores was when I got to build displays and endcaps. The more colorful the better! I hope to have a lot of fun helping our members in as many ways as I can and to keep growing and learning along the way.  

 3 fun facts about me are:  

I am an identical twin. I live with her and her husband in Boulder, Colorado.  

I start listening to Christmas music a week before Thanksgiving. And yes, I love the Hallmark Christmas channel.  

I have been obsessed with Rod Stewart since the 4th grade. I have seen him 14 times in concert.
