L.A. Grocery & Cafe just recently opened in 2024 in the heart of Los Angeles on Melrose Avenue. Founded with the mission of exploring food systems that enrich the lives of people and the places they live, L.A. Grocery & Cafe carries a wide variety of organic produce staples, responsibly raised meats, and pantry essentials, as well as florals, beer, and wine. Thom’s Market, TX. Founded 2007. 

Thom’s Market originally began with current owner Bill Thom’s grandfather, who founded his own independent grocery store in 1911. Inspired by his grandfather’s story, Bill set out to create a new and modern neighborhood grocery with an old-school twist. Along with honoring his grandfather’s legacy, Thom’s Market carries a wide variety of locally made goods, natural & organic foods, boutique wines, and more. Buck’s Deli & Market, SC. Founded 2025.  

Buck’s Deli is a new natural & organic foods store in Daniel Island, South Carolina. With an emphasis on chef-prepared meals, Buck’s serves specialty sandwiches, salads, prepared foods, and pastries. Owners Gail and Christian Buck moved to Daniel Island in 2018, and identified a need for elevated, last-minute meal options for busy families. As a startup, they’re looking forward to connecting with the INFRA community, as well as reaping the benefits of INFRA’s purchasing programs. UpRoot Market & Eatery, MI. Opening Soon! 

UpRoot Market & Eatery is a project of Sprout Incubator Kitchen, a community gardening and CSA initiative founded to improve the food system in the Battle Creek, Michigan community. After working to secure grant funding, UpRoot Market & Eatery was founded to provide community members with access to high-quality, locally produced food while providing farmers a market for their goods. Hurley’s No Name Nutrition, NE. Founded 1976.  

Hurley’s No Name Nutrition is Omaha’s original family-owned health food store. No Name Nutrition is truly a family operation. Owned by co-founders Nancy & Lynn Hurley, son Trent Hurley, and grandson Josh Hurley, the store now spans three generations. Specializing in supplements and wellness, Hurley’s carries vitamins and supplements, specialty oils, and personal care products. The Genny, VT. Founded 2012.  

The Genny is a woman-owned general store with 2 locations in Craftsbury and Albany Vermont. Prior to the current owners taking over, The Genny was the Craftsbury General Store, a community staple and Vermont institution for decades. Owners Emily, Kit, and Jana are committed to continuing this legacy by providing goods from local artisans, farmers, and producers. They also offer many ways for their community to come together through events, outdoor gathering spaces, and more. Nature’s Corner, IA. Founded 1979.

Nature’s Corner is a wellness focused store in the heart of Burlington, Iowa. They carry vitamins, supplements, body care, and nutritional food and pride themselves in being a one-stop-shop for people with food sensitivities and allergies.
