Jack & Annie’s, and sister brand The Jackfruit Company, are producing plant-based meat-alternatives made from the sustainable jackfruit plant. Growing abundantly in rural India, this drought-resistant plant generates 60% less greenhouse gas emissions and 95% less land use than meat. It is high in fiber with 57% less fat and 40% fewer calories than similar forms of plant-based meat. Jack & Annie’s is unique in their approach to the supply chain; they have a direct partnership with 1,700+ families in India where upcycled jackfruit contributes 10-40% of their farm’s income.

The Jackfruit Company features refrigerated meal-starters while Jack & Annie’s focuses on frozen plant-based meats. Look for The Jackfruit Company’s newly reformulated recipe in the refrigerated section and check out Jack & Annie’s free fill as part of INFRA’s January Fill Offer program!
